That lady with the strange hairstyle seems like a real bitch who needs some dick.
Colonial powers never left they only left physically. We as Africans are still slaves; those in control know this but they will never even talk about it… Ghandi said that there are enough resources for everyone in the world but not enough resources for one man’s Greed…..
Only the poor people were fighting. I dint see any videos of violence shot at Runda, Karen, Kitisuru!! Kenyans open your eyes.
Raila doesnt knw wht the f he talk….the most contradicting fol ever….
i didn’t know that “tribalism” was such a problem in kenya, though i remember the reports in 2007 about the violence without really having the context to understand it.
thanks such much for this dicussion to learn a bit about it!
and i loved atsango chesoni in this discussion!
The solution is equitable distribution of resources.
@drsugarcane As for Raila’s performance try fighting with your hand behind ur back. He has had to shadow box kibakis henchmen and we all know Kibaki is not the problem but his sidekicks. Why else would they allow him to blatantly ignore the constitution and nominate the cj and those other posts. And if I recall they did it when Raila was out the country and the first thing he did was raise the red flag
Great to see this conversation happening for those critising the PM that is gone but he is blazing the way amongst those bunch of useless politicians and encouraging to see him take part can they get Kibaki Ruto and Kenyatta too we want to see them all under the lense
there needs to be some simple conversation & debating skills among participants. there is a common attitude among journalists & activists who are carried away by the sheer fact of sitting next people who are making history. in the process, they are unable to think straight, turn loud, aggressive, combative, arrogant etc for their 2 seconds of glory on tv, instead of focussing on the issues. why invite people if you are more interested in ‘nailing’ them…?…let people articulate their ideas..!
Odinga had a minus something!
There are much worse countries. Central African Republic for example. Burundi. D.R.C. Equatorial Guinea which is still under a classic African dictatorship where the President and his family takes all. Worse than Moi. Chad is pretty bad… don’t worry, Kenya isn’t in the top 5… but it is in the top 10. Feel better now?
Well after watching this I know I won’t vote Raila for president. Everybody was vibrant and talktative except for him, it’s as if he was sleep talking, and he lacked focus and never answered questions directly. Of course as Prime Minister he has to watch what he says but he really seemed incoherent and dopey.
I think I know the one thing we can claim as our national identity. We are pessimists through and through. The show was awesome for me, raised a lot of issues that will hopefully make you and I think about being Kenyans vs being from tribe XYZ, and also by extension, what part we can play in making it the Kenya we want to be in.
But i cant blame her for her fathers misteps…..she should now play a good role in not looking back at those days..when whatever school she was…and what other gals felt of being in the tribe that held the presidency…that was just childish in those days..NOW LOOK FORWARD and build a tribal free Kenya.
But what are we talking about here..Those who were in Kanu since Kenyatta and Moi regomes see things in a different eyes. Atsango Chesoni’s father..is he Justice Chesoni who rigged Elections for Moi against Matiba..and Now??? she is soo fierry.
kenya is the most corrupt failed state in africa apart from somalia
Kudos to the PM for showing up knowing he will most likely get fried! I love Atsango’s attitude..she is being very real & has identified the issue with a lot of clarity! I have a lot of respect for Muite. He has carried on his ideology of justice & equality of all despite the stigma he has suffered through the years for bring a ‘traitor’ in Ngunjiri’s words. Muite is like the least tribal kikuyu leader and he has weathered the test..him & Imanyara have played an important role. I fault the PM
One Word: Atsango Chesoni. This is the Truth, Kenyans. I feel her passion. No one should get away with tribalism. I don’t tell people I’m Luo anymore. I tell them where I’m from. Then say I AM KENYAN!
Just nuke that place, problem solved.
Grading the overall performance on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best.
Odinga- 5
Muite- 4
Githuku- 8
Chesoni- 8
Wambugu- 7
Kaara- 6
Yvonne gets a perfect 10
You gotta love the passion in this lady Atsango. Hey mr PM stop triangulating on the icc issue….answer the damn question.
Raila has done a shoddy job as PM. This was a probationary period. Now you know he will do a shoddy job as President. Parable of the ten talents. You must perform with small responsiblities before given larger ones. If you think he will do any better as president than he has done as PM forget it!
Kudos Raila: Speak less Listen More and Act the Most. For me its just about getting on ground and addressing the Issues spot on.. And I refute KKK since Kenya is not for KKK but for all Of US!!
We do have a Kenyan culture, just live outside Kenya and you will see your culture.
yes u r ridgt. but in the cafe Raila is the very incoherent compared to other debators, and he is still least eloquent among that group. Raila and kibaki are in the same level. Raila and kibaki have no difference. difference is age they have alot in common, they come from the same tribe (elite & rich)
